Wait……could we see him complete his journey back where it all started? Lol.
He has more eligibility??Wait……could we see him complete his journey back where it all started? Lol.
No kidding- seems like 8 years agoHe has more eligibility??
So he will be playing fullback/special teams nut this year? That should be entertaining.Must be on the Patrick O’Brien 9-year plan.
Funniest post of 2023 so far....Maybe we'll pick him up as an assistant coach. 🙃

Looks like he’s about 4 months older than Casey Thompson.Isnt he lIke 30 now
And then make an NFL roster for a whileSo he will be playing fullback/special teams nut this year? That should be entertaining.
The stupid Covid year was done in such a stupid way.Wow. He signed with us in April of 16, lol.
It’s Dr. Gebbia now
The effect has trickled down to every level. High schoolers have less opportunities...it will take until about 2025 to remove all the effects of giving everyone an extra year. The stupid Covid year was done in such a stupid way.
Only seniors should have got that extra year. No one even missed a ****ing season except for the Ivy League.
According to this article, he can get a seventh year with a medical redshirt. He was a 6th year senior last season.
You shouldn't have 7 years of eligibility, regardless of whether you get hurt. This is so ridiculous. He has already had 5 non-injury seasons of football for God's sake.According to this article, he can get a seventh year with a medical redshirt.

How about Jeff Kinney, Turner Gill and Trev Alberts while we're at it? Heck I even saw a clip last week that some 40 some old dude was playing in some small college. Shoot, we've thrown out every other rule. Why not the number of years you can play in college? We could bring back Roy Helu and Matt Slaussen next year. Maybe Baker Steinkuhler could get that chance at OT! Why do we need Maverick Noonan? Just bring back his dad instead.
Seventh time is a charm. He's getting a 7th year of eligibility?
He's had a grand total of 200 pass attempts during his first 6 years.
Wonder which school he's going to to end up not on the field playing QB for next season.
We could bring back all of our current NFL players with NIL money better than their NFL contracts. How about Jeff Kinney, Turner Gill and Trev Alberts while we're at it? Heck I even saw a clip last week that some 40 some old dude was playing in some small college. Hey, anything is possible...
Always about the hotties for you🤣Never gave it any thought before but i'm curious how the 26 y/o jock does with the 20 y/o hotties on the college campus???...I could see wanting to savor that part of college life as long as possible.
Man I loved playing football. I said for years I would have paid a lot of money to cover one kickoff at Memorial Stadium. I kind of regretted passing up some small college football opportunities for an academic scholarship at NU. As broken as my body is today I guess it was probably a smart thing.Well I do give him credit for staying with his football dreams. You only go around in life once so if that's his dream, more power to him to keep at it as long as he can.
At age 26 is about when 20-year-old co-eds become annoying. It's very unfortunate, really.Never gave it any thought before but i'm curious how the 26 y/o jock does with the 20 y/o hotties on the college campus???...I could see wanting to savor that part of college life as long as possible.

I played small college ball and it definitely cured me of missing it when it was over. I was ready to be done and get on with life. By the time I was a senior it felt like a job. It definitely wasn't like the rah rah fun of playing with HS buddies. In any event, I'm in way better shape from an ortho perspective than my wife who has never done anything more athletic than swing a golf club. But I'm 48 and have trouble remembering names and I'm really starting wish I never played football.Man I loved playing football. I had cartilage removed in 1976 due to HS sports injury and in the last few years have been limping noticeably and the knee is starting to hurt. I need a replacement soon. And that was just one surgery on one knee. I can't imagine how players who have had several surgeries on both knees and other stuff thrown in like elbows and shoulders can even function when they get my age. For me was it worth it? Looking back probably not. But then being "somebody" in HS by being in sports might have affected my life positively, so it is hard to tell if the bum knee was worth it.Man I loved playing football. I had my left hip done at age 50. Have a torn ACL in my left knee that was never fixed. Bone on bone in my right knee. Right hip needed to be replaced years ago. And finally my right angle that I tore all of the lateral ligaments in my junior year has dislocated twice on me in the past few years.I had cartilage removed in 1976 due to HS sports injury and in the last few years have been limping noticeably and the knee is starting to hurt.
