It appears there should no longer be a debate about whether we will have a new coach next year. Is it at all possible we could keep most of our discussions here as respectful and constructive as possible going forward in order to do as little harm as possible to our program and possible recruits? It helps no one to slam our coaching staff and players. Perhaps we can focus on what we would like to see going forward. In addition, it appears to me MR and his staff have had far and away the best recruiting plan we've had at Nebraska, perhaps there are aspects we would like the new staff to emulate. I was hospitalized before the 1970 season because I got to excited about the team to the point I was in severe pain and my dad died the night Bill Callahan was hired. I love Nebraska and want the best, not because I deserve it, but because it's been the center of my life. This board is vastly better than it used to be, but how about a cease fire between those on RSS and a focus on constructive analysis of where we go from here. While I hope not, it is likely the next coaching change will also fail. Not because the AD will make a mistake, but because that's the nature of things. There are only a few sure fire winners and every fan base thinks they will secure them, but almost every program including Alabama, Oklahoma, Texas, USC, etc. has wandered through the wilderness before once again securing a superior coach. Let's make sure we contribute everything we can to help get the next staff off to the best start possible. GBR
