For the 3rd time in 6 weeks GameDay is at a Tennessee game. What garbage. And a boon for their recruiting. How does that even happen?

Yep. Turned it off long ago in favor of BTN.

the SEC network is an ESPN affiliated enterprise -- why are people surprised that ESPN is at more SEC venues than others - it's business

Yeah, it's Texas/OU weekend here in the Big D and Gameday is in Tennessee. WTF?

both teams are 2-2 while aTm and Tennessee are both undefeated also Texas/OU is on Fox -- why the heck would ESPN be pimping a game between two 2 loss teams on a rival network no less ... I know a lot of people don't like ESPN but the aren't idiots

and the game is in College Station

What other game would you be at if you were running the show?

Best matchups get the attention.

If Tennessee wins again today, they may be in Knoxville again next week for the Alabama game. Wisconsin and Ohio St may be the game if A&M wins.

It should be in a different place each week. Yeah, Texas/OU is not a ranked game like it has been in the past. Still a big rivalry game. I'll watch that game at 11 and the UNC/VT at 2:30. FSU/Miami tonight. Wish both could lose. :p

Just wait and if Tennessee wins today, they'll probably be there again for the UT/Bama game.

Gameday is pretty terrible nowadays. Ever since they expanded to 3 hours there's just too much time to fill so it's mostly garbage. They also pick like 15 games and don't seem to keep track of any of their picks so it doesn't even matter.

All I'm saying is get some variety. Even if it's SEC variety. I just think 3/6 weeks with the same team is nuts. Plus Tennessee is essentially a crazy mess

Program exposure helps. Not saying a recruit signs for that reason but it helps to sell the team. We'd be happy to get coach Riley on TV for national TV to see. The stadium, fans, etc. Again, I'm not saying it lands a recruit but it doesn't hurt.

Anybody recall the running back who decommited to go to Tennessee? Has he played for them? Is he still on the roster?

Bussey is right couldn't keep up with his commitments. Is he there either? Haven't looked hard but haven't heard his name at all.

anyone know where gameday will be?

no doubt in SEC land ... damn that ESPN and their SEC bias!!

Unless there is a game on I don't watch a lick of ESPN anymore. Gameday spends 55+ minutes on SEC and is in SEC country every game. Plus I just got tired of watching Desmond Howard pick us to lose literally every single game this season. I've come to enjoy BTN and FS1 much better.

There is (I think) a feature on Mike Riley scheduled to air on Game Day Saturday. That means you either have to watch it, or record it and watch only the HCMR feature.
