If this game plan was played all season, I see 3 less losses. Just my no post opinion, tear me up what ever. Im just happy the Huskers won, don't hate because I don't have 10 million posts. GO BIG RED. Great win guys.

It is a game of match-ups. Our O matched up well against their D. It is not always the case from week to week. It would be nice to think you can impose your will each week with the same game plan but it doesnt always work that way.

If RIley and Langsdorf have half a brain, they should now realize they have established an offensive identity last night for the program moving forward. The confidence this offense gained by literally pounding the hell out of UCLA as the game went on was a beautiful thing to watch. The style of offense also helped our passing game be more efficient when we did throw. Great game last night and as a Riley detractor, this game gives me a bit of hope for this staff going forward. We will see.

Against Michigan State and Iowa we also ran the ball hard to start both games. The biggest difference was Tommy and his amazing restraint to play within the game plan against UCLA. It allowed the coaches and more specifically maybe Tommy to continue to play within the design(remember all the talk of the short passes being open) of the offense.
