Is that a place where fans would party and stay? I don't really know Boulder at all.
We stayed there instead of Boulder this time it’s about 10 miles slightly East of Boulder..
His OC had a HC gig before and quit to become Sanders' OC. But yeah he will probably get a better one in a few years.

Isnt it comedic how many butt hurt rival fans are out there trying to dig at the program?. I want to ask them where Nebraska hurt them and offer a path to healing.

For me, I am super into the game day economics.Deion Sanders and the Colorado Football Program are manipulating many in the Husker fanbase…it is laughable.
Some grad student at UNL did a paper on running a train (not that kind of train) from Omaha to Lincoln, again, on game day. The #s that he spit out make it seem like an amazing idea. All that stuff just interests me.
Rest assured that Boulder city leaders will find a reason to complain about it.
If it was an Amtrak train, it would arrive in Lincoln around the middle of the 3rd quarter.
If at all. Seriously though I think a light commuter rail COULD work on a daily basis M-F but you still have to use (rely on) public transportation or uber/taxi once you got there . Problem is there is a lot of demand going both direction at the same time. As far as Saturday goes most demand goes one direction before and after the game. It's not like a bus where you just add more based on demand
I heard that Jaemekon lives for Saturdays since he's become an uber driver. The more traffic, the better for him.

A commuter train between Omaha and Lincoln probably had a much better chance of happening pre-COVID. For most people, it seems like the days of commuting an hour each way, five days per week, are long gone.
Couldn't they just run it on game day?
Charge 50 dollars per person, have a bar car...

As I was watching Gameday this am depression really set in. There were 2 programs (CU and NU) that had hit rock bottom. Within 1 year one of those programs was 2-0, hosting Game Day, nationally ranked and has the whole college football world talking about them.The other is 0-2 and playing NIL. The people that want us to schedule “cupcakes” are probably ecstatic right now but can’t say I am. Who knows where either of these programs will be in 5 years but I know where I would rather be RIGHT NOW.
Could probably make that work. I think you would need a couple of stops in central and west Omaha though. Most people wouldn’t go downtown to get on a train to Lincoln. Right now I think that’s the only passenger train platform in Omaha.
