Nebraska (20-11-1, 6-2) is back at Hawks Field on this windy afternoon as they look to sweep Northwestern (5-24 3-5) after beating the Wildcats in the first two games of this three-game weekend series. Yesterday, Nebraska only needed one inning as the Husker offense went off in the second inning to plate nine runs on eight hits as NU had two singles, three doubles and a two-run home run by Gabe Swansen to cap it off. It was the complete opposite on Friday as Northwestern hopped on top of Husker ace Emmett Olson 3-0 as he could only go 3.1 innings. The bullpen picked up the slack as Corbin Hawkins came in to fire 3.1 shutdown innings while Kyle Perry followed suit with 2.1 scoreless innings.
