Game 2 of Diaco defense

A lot of people thought it was a crappy thing, the way Banker was let go. But some people wanted change.. I was hoping for a better BP 2.0.. sigh

I read another poster who stated something to the effect that he's already tired of this guys act. That resonated with me. Diaco's cryptic bs interviews and futile attempts to sound like a defensive coaching ghandi, well I've heard enough of it too.
I agree with this I was not happy when banker was brought aboard , read also in that group. I appreciated and was hopeful when Riley made the change, honestly I did not think he would do it. The jury is still out on Diaco but it's a very bad start if we do not get better on defense and I mean better not improved from the first two games then this reflects poorly on Riley and his ability to surround himself with good coaches

You have a bunch of players essentially playing a new position because of the changes. You have several new starters in the back end. We lost our best CB to injury. We lost our most experienced DB coach pre-season. We started the year against 2 teams that didn't give our inexperienced (in this defense) LBers and DBs time to think pre-snap ok now this is how they're lined up and this is what I need to do. WAY too early to judge the coaches or players. Let's see how we're playing to end the year rather than the way we start it. We have to with all the changes.

all true and good points - I did think we were going to have some growing pains however just not to this extent - I also thought we would see more pressure and more flying to the football

Riley isn't responsible for your ignorance of Diaco's system. We get good hustle to the ball, but Diaco is not Jim Johnson.
