I’m going to take Notre Dame getting 3.5 being at home and they have the much better QB..
Guys, we were really close (LOL) to having the room 4 team parlay. "Really close", famous last words.
Between scarlet, Tuco, kong, and SuperFan the only game that we were 1.5 points short was BYU.
Since scarlet gave 2 two teams as his favorite, I split the parlay with S. Carolina on one and Maryland on the other.
Overall, a pretty damn nice effort, so next week I'll include Husker O as the additional picker in a 50.00 5 teamer.
As for myself, I told a board member, who will remain nameless unless I'm pressed, that I would be keying both Tennessee and K State as my key plays. They both covered and I also grabbed a 4 teamer twice, but only played them 20.00 each on the parlay, so only 480.00 up.
So far my experiment on playing only parlays is doing okay. Week 2 up 960.00, Week 3 up 430.00, this week up 480.00 Playing only 140.00 a weekend as a max, I think I almost have the entire season covered already. I'm trying to prove that playing parlays for profit can be done. So far, so good. I don't think its for everyone, and I'm certainly not endorsing it if you're already able to maintain a profit for an entire season.
Tennessee, KState, Penn State, Duke and Louisville are very good teams coming off a loss. Tennessee and KState both lost last week, and covered this week.
As a side note, even though Tennessee is not nearly as good offensively as last year, in one aspect, and one aspect only, Josh Heupel is very much like TO. Back in the day when NU suffered a defeat, the next weeks opponent was likely to really get hammered. Heupel and TO are very much alike in that regard. FWIW
I'm almost handicapping the head coach as much as I am the team. Some coaches, I'm discovering have certain patterns with their wins and losses, but so far my list is too small to get excited about.
