I’d totally agree he’s been the most disappointing hire of not succeeding, but Eichorst hire was just as disappointing so we can call them 1A and 1B.

The time to hire Frost would have been after Pelini got run. Less experience, but less arrogance and fewer bad habits gained. Tommy was still on the roster, as was Westy, Reilly, Newby and Cross. Maliek and Valentine on the Dline. The fact that Riley only won 5 games with that roster and schedule should have been grounds for firing after the first year.

Yeah, I have no issue with what Frost said. If he felt that way I am sure he had a reason to feel that way and I am guessing that Trev is kind of a pain in the ass too. That doesn't mean Frost didn't suck here at NU, it just means that working under Trev probably also sucked.

No, again, two things can both be true. Frost can be a horrible horrible coach while at NU and Trev can be a super annoying boss.

Frost is going to have to leverage the talent base in FL to be successful. I don't see him outcoaching many of the coaches in the BG12 including Gundy, Klieman, Leipold, Campbell, Whittingham, Dykes, and Dillingham.
