Frost takes shot at Trev at his PC

24.40 N. Umm. Not to defend Trev but didn't Frost have the Moos for his first 4 years here? Quit crying Scott. You failed as a HC at NU. Stop blaming others.
I'm not much of a Trev fan, but Frost is full of crap. He was given every opportunity and resource needed to succeed. His failure is on him, nobody else.

I'm just grateful that the Frost-Moos- Trev clown show circus has moved on. Troy and Matt seem to get the Nebraska culture better than those guys.

I’m guilty of supporting him a lot longer than I should have.

Trev gave him plenty of rope, he himself failed tremendously a lot of bad stuff I heard near the end of his stay was unreal..

He likes to point the finger but he needs to point the thumb.

If I’m the new AD - I would be concerned about his comments. Just as I was when he was blaming Mike Riley in year 3. F that guy - takes 0 responsibility for anything. So glad to be rid of him.

Imagine that Frost has great success in his second UCF stint. Imagine that he wins the Big12 and gets his team to the CFP. Imagine him being interviewed repeatedly as part of the CFP hype and asked about what went wrong at Nebraska. Imagine him taking no personal responsibility for his results, and instead blaming the AD, the university, the fans, the media, the weather, geography and Runzas.

I want him to fail.

The world we live in! Some of the most prominent people in our society have made a career out of it.
He probably has to give some excuse to justify his new boss’s faith in hiring him. Most UCF fans are going to buy it and I don’t really care much what he says now. I think going forward he would better served by never speaking of Nebraska again.

Dude was a good coach at one time. But he has issues that prevented him from being one at Nebraska. It’s hard to see future success for him until he realizes that the one most to blame for his failures is himself. But he’s been too arrogant to ever consider that possibility. He should have been humble and thankful that he was even given a fifth year despite all his failures. Instead he acted like a petulant little child because Trev put him on some sort of corrective action plan with a restructured contract. His interview only seems to confirm that he still hasn’t looked in a mirror.

Frost's problem was that his ability to evaluate high rated talent was garbage. Of the top ten recruits in each of his first three classes, I count 12/30 who were contributors. I count 9 of 20 in Rhule's first two classes.

I might add he took special teams for grated and didn’t emphasize in game planning like a lot of good and great coaches.

Even with all of those issues he has enough money to live a pretty comfortable life he manages it well. Mind boggling how so many with really bad ethics do so well in life. Some even reach the pinnacle.

I spoke to Scott not too long ago. He hates Trev. Says Trev was the one that made up his drinking rumors
One I heard was he got kicked out of Golf resort, not but sure which one out in Western Nebraska for being drunk and obnoxious..

Another one was Women’s golf team couldn’t get on the golf simulator because he and Matt Davison were on too long..

I don't see his comments as blaming Trev for his failure at Nebraska. He was commenting on his relationship with his new AD at UCF and was simply making the point that he and the AD are on the same page and that he has had an experience of working for an AD that he had a bad relationship with and that that is not good. I think there is little doubt that he and Trev had a bad relationship mainly because Trev knew he was probably going to have to fire the guy. And I do not not like Trev and I am not here to defend him. The dude is a "me first" fraud and an arrogant asshole. And I dislike Frost and I hope he loses every game at UCF just so there is no narrative about "there must be something impossible about Nebraska for winning games" would Frost win at UCF again. But this quote from Frost is not him blaming his failure at Nebraska on Trev.

Basically he was disappointed that Trev was giving him some tough feedback - as if it should have been okay to wallow in 3-5 win land until whittle Scotty Frost could get it figured out.

i'm not sure i've ever been more disappointed in a coaching hire than Scott Frost... and it appears he still takes not blame for his failures....

Frost brought a G5 level staff with him to Lincoln. Rhule brought a Big 12 level staff with him to Lincoln. Frost didn't make any substantial adjustments until it was too late for him. Rhule adjusted during and after year 2.
How bad did it get at the end? I remember Busch made a comment after the first game he was DC (Indiana) that NU did not really depart from a base defense and he was working with the kids in that game to make sure they were properly lined up.

I’d totally agree he’s been the most disappointing hire of not succeeding, but Eichorst hire was just as disappointing so we can call them 1A and 1B.
