I still can't get over the onside kick with the logic being to try to end the game.... Who says something like that? Even if it works, you still need to go get a TD which isn't a guarantee and then you need another TD with that much time left.
Reminds me of the Iowa situation last year. SF said he basically knew the game was over when Iowa blocked the punt and scored....in Lincoln. Who says something like that?
It's all backwards. So we lost the Iowa game with a blocked punt for a score with a bunch of time left and Iowa was also down by about 11 points. Momentum killer. But the very next game he coaches he tries to end the game that results in a momentum killer?
