This was a much, much tighter game than the final score would indicate. Wyoming was right there deep into the second half with a chance to come up with one big drive to make it scary, but five interceptions killed the upset hopes. Tommy Armstrong bombed away for the Huskers – highlighted by a beautiful 55-yard touchdown pass-catch to Jordan Westerkamp – while the defensive front shut down Brian Hill, holding him to 49 yards and a touchdown. Up next for Nebraska is Oregon – the team appears ready to do something big.
