That was a real fast half inning after that lead off HR. Only took 6 pitches to get those three outs by my count.

Huge inning. Now let's hope Hohensee can continue deep into this game to preserve the bullpen.

In other action today...
Northwestern beat Purdue
Iowa beat Michigan State
Michigan beat Ohio State

That Northwestern win gives us some breathing room. Need to take care of business this weekend for it to matter.

Bottom 6th

E3 puts Mojo on 1st. Wilkening moves the runner to 2nd with a groundout to 2nd. Schlepp flies out to CF. Meyers with an RBI single to LF!!! Altavilla with a liner right to the RFers glove.

Got confirmation on the Minnesota-Rutgers doubleheader on Tuesday, May 16. Quite the conundrum for both teams, especially Minnesota, with regard to managing the pitching staff heading into the final weekend of the regular season. Keep in mind the last weekend of the regular season is Thurs-Sat series ahead of the conference tourney starting on the following Wednesday.

In Omaha, the game started on something called World which is 1016 on Omaha Cox. At seven o'clock the game switched to NET (1012 Cox).
Used to just be called NET2, is now "NET-World". Kevin Kugler tweeted about this before the game, although I didn't see any explanation of why they did it this very stupid way.
