King gets the start. One out walk. Single up the middle, runners 1st and 2nd. RBI single to RF, runners on the corners. FC groundout to 3rd, a run scores as they are unable to turn the double play. Single past 1st, runners 1st and 2nd. K ends the threat.

Leadoff ground rule double over the RF wall for Boldt. Sac bunt for Placzek advances Boldt to 3rd. Miller singles to LF but Boldt held not knowing if it would be caught or not. Schreiber walks to bases loaded. Meyers hits into a FC and is safe at first, Schreiber out at 2nd, Boldt scores, Miller to 3rd. Wilkening grounds out to SS.
