Nothing drives me crazy more than making outs on the base paths. And there has been waaaaay too much of it. It cost NU one run (so far) tonight.
Silva could have caught the ball at the wall (1 run)
Nunez could have made the play on the dribbler (2 runs)
Carey got picked off of third base (1 run)
Lost by two runs.

It's the little things when you're not a good enough hitting team to score consistently.
Again, if you can’t at minimum score 6-8 runs you will not win many games in college baseball. Our pitching is not perfect, but it was good enough tonight. Our bats and base running are awful.
