Huskers tie the game, but it's been like pulling teeth to get there, and now Daiss walks the go-ahead run aboard, and it's a guy who is LITERALLY BATTING F***ING .000. God this team works hard to lose as many games as they can, like Scott Frost is wearing a Will Bolt disguise.

And shockingly, walking a guy without a hit all year bites them right in the ass.

Brumbaugh then leads off the bottom of the 9th with a hit, and over-slides second base like he's never played baseball before and gets tagged out.

This team has been terrible at running the bases all season long. Case in point.

Let's be straight here. The game was lost by allowing 6 runs on 5 home runs on the first three innings.

The best possible result for this weekend is now getting to two games under .500. Stringing wins together continues to evade the 2025 Huskers.

So many things wrong with that play. His run meant nothing, should never have come close to getting thrown out— it’s not forgivable.
Bolt just doesn’t seem capable of teaching all the little things he made a career out of.
