According to a poster on another board: A couple weeks ago he came down with some inflammation in his arm but fought through it. In hindsight he probably should have rested earlier after seeing the results, but this weekend presented a perfect opportunity.

We’ve seen Nebraska nose dive in games they should win. Northwestern coming in with a 5-22 mark will make it awfully hard to make a regional if they can’t complete the sweep. RPI down to 98. Season 1 B1G champs to a sub .500 record in season 2 and series losses to UNO and Creighton with a missed regional in season 3 will not fair well for Bolt.

I’d assume pitch count? I’m not sure of his history though. Maybe he is limited.

Yeah, puzzling question. Looked to me like he was good to go but never came out for the 5th.

I see on his stats he has started nine games but only has 44 IP total. Don't know what the deal is.

BTW, anyone see Michigan's O'Halloran today? 3 Hits, 4 Runs and other bad things. That was the 1st inning. Never came out for the 2nd. Oops.

Game just finished, Rutgers won 13-0. RU's freshman starter went complete game, 0 BB, 12 Ks and other good stuff. Wow.

Minnesota beat Brecht and Iowa 12-3 in the 1st game of a dbl header. Brecht got beat up pretty good.
Iowa leads 4-1 after three.
