football season is over, what now?

I don’t have a lot of time for video games anymore but I play Subnautica sometimes. Psychonauts 2 is probably next on my list after that.
I've not played either, but I know what they are.
I've mostly been playing Breath of the Wild, Skul: The Hero Slayer, Jurassic World Evolution 2, Blasphemous, and Darkest Dungeon, recently.
There are too many good games, and not enough time.
I bet you suck at golfing .. What a dweeb posting video game updates just to bump the thread..

Jae, much as I hate to say it, I agree with scarlet. It's no big deal but if you get into a "OT video game thread, etc" and post it there, it might be better.
Not speaking for scarlet, but he's an old dude like me, and I personally think video games like that, etc are a waste of time. But, I know they are as popular as hell, just not for our generation. I don't play Madden football either (or whatever it is now), but I think that's maybe entertaining.
What might be a blast would be scarlet taking me on in a game of Madden football. Even though I'd probably blow him off the field, it could be fun to match our 120 years of experience in playcalling.
Some of us older guys are gonna play golf (not me) in the mid morning or afternoon, have lunch and then do our thing on the Husker board. And we have our weekend distraction with football.
I used to play PacMan for hours when I was younger, in fact, I have one in my home. Then when Nintendo was hot, I played that with my son, but the whole time I thought it was mind numbing. Could have been because I wasn't very good, and didn't have any desire to be good.
Not speaking for the board, but more an attempt to settle scarletred down a bit. lol
I plan on sandbagging some of his college picks this year, so I need him dialed in.

is the game week like the lead up to christmas for some of y'all? or do you just block out the game until gameday?
i personally block out the games until gameday as much as i can. i don't bet on games, so my approach to the week is different than those who do, i understand that you guys have to do research throughout the week.
but for you regular fans who don't bet on games, do you struggle weekly with anticipation? or do you just block out the games and enjoy gameday?

Elden Ring is supposed to be releasing a DLC soon. I'm excited for that, don't really know what is going to be new, but it doesn't matter, FromSoftware crushes it.
Additionally, MK 1 has been keeping me decently occupied. I don't love the game, but i still play it quite a bit, I'm kind of trash at this one. diablo 4 as well, I'm just trying to grind to platinum before season 2 ends.
I'm sure the summer will present more opportunities, but i don't have anything planned at this time.
