As a college prof here in Phoenix, I can assure you I would be thinking twice before giving a D or F grade to any Student packing heat!!
As a prof as well, I would agree. We have students that come in and are upset with our decisions about grades/assignments and sometimes act as if we are incredibly unfair. I have had more than a few leave angry. I am sure that most calm down after a time but would hate to add a gun to their immediate angst. Falwell needs to think about what he says before he says it.
I had a buddy of mine who got upset when a prof gave him an F on a paper. He complained to the Dean. I took a look at the paper and told him he deserved the F. Grown man, 16pt font, double spaced crap. It's like he wanted a participation ribbon. Turn something in and pass. It's college, not high school. Even then if you put zero effort into your work then you should not be surprised when you get called out on it.
Maybe most professors should think about what they teach before they say it. Most are liberal apologists with anti-Christian values.
