Florida St is a massive underachiever
I wouldn't call winning a national title and playing in the Orange Bowl tonight being an underachiever..

Welcome to THIS YEAR
Honest question: If both these coaches were offered the opportunity to take any player off Nebraska's roster - but if you take him, you have to start him - do they pick anybody?
The Orange Bowl tonight being this year..
I don't think he's overrated. But he is horrible at clock management. His offensive playcalling is usually pretty good, but it can be pretty bad at times too.Last time I checked Fla St wasn't playing for a national title. Matter of fact they weren't even playing for an ACC championship. Of course the 6 million dollar demi god coach wasn't either. Epic fail by Harbaugh... what an overrated coach he is.

We won't pay 10m a yr and he hasn't won shit yet either
we'd trade riley for harbaugh in a second.
Lol....dudes never won squat and Michigan is 1 and 3 their last 4 games.
yeah, an NFC championship is squat. you're being dishonest with yourself if you you want to say that riley is a better coach than harbaugh. i know you don't really believe it. no one does.
Interesting stat put out today.....
Hokes first two years at Mich 19-7
Harbaughs first two years 20-6
Dude needs to refund some of that salary
Why are there always threads on here arguing Harbaugh isn't a good coach? Gene Chizik won a title, does that mean you'd rather have him than Harbaugh? If you wouldn't take Harbaugh over Riley with all the evidence we have you are either a delusional homer or arguing for the sake of argument. His losses this year are last second to Iowa (who beat us by what 30?) ot to osu (who beat us by 59) and by 1 point to fsu. He's also got a much higher rated recruiting class. Give me that guy and I'll take my chances.

Personally I think Harbaugh is a total d---head, and I don't care if he ever wins another game. But if it's so essential to remind ourselves that NU was 20-25 yards and a late FG away from playing in the conference title game, it's also true that Michigan was six inches away from playing tonight for a shot at the national title.
So if I'm supposed to keep the faith that NU made a lot of progress this year and is on the right track, is it okay if I also think Michigan is a pretty damn good team? Or does that require special permission from the all-knowing football authorities among us?
Look at where Stanford was before he got there and then after. Look at where the niners were when he left and where they are now. Hokes last year Michigan didn't even go to a bowl game. He took over a team at Stanford that was 1-11 and in 4 years had a much better season than Riley ever had at Oregon State. It's not even close.Name all this evidence of Harbaughs greatness. He was left a boatload of talent and his record is no better than Hokes and he's finished 3rd in the Big 10 east division both years. That would be called a complete failure for someone being called ELITE and making 6 million a year.
