the 4th down conversion was pretty ballsy, could have given them lots of momentum.
I don’t think he thought Illinois could get back in to field goal range. That’s a pro 2 minute drill with an inexperienced option QB.

I know. I'm just saying, my appreciation for HH doesn't go away because the play calls ask him to do something he's not really equipped to do. He's kinda the ultimate example of stick with what he's good at or you'll get burned. We've got a 10 point halftime lead on the road so I'm a fan.
But maybe just run the clock with 2 minutes left in the half up ten.
I'm not talking about not trying to score, but see if you can get a run to pop and get aggressive from there.

We’re pretty fortunate to be up by 10, even to a crap team like Illinois. This one has the potential to go down to the wire…..BigTen refs, Satterfield, false starts, windy, you know the drill. Ok ok, I’ll be positive, I swear.
Yeah. Odds are it wouldn’t go anywhere but I just view it as a wasted opportunity to let your back or QB make a big play. No doubt analytics say to kneel down in your own territory
