bone in his wrist. Sounds like he played a fair part of the game with the injury. Next up true freshman at RT. Sounds like surgery today. Way to go guys ripping on a RSFr.. Assholes.
That sucks, wish him a speedy recovery. And he will get better as time goes on, with the right coaching, of course.bone in his wrist. Sounds like he played a fair part of the game with the injury. Next up true freshman at RT. Sounds like surgery today. Way to go guys ripping on a RSFr.. Assholes.
Michael Severe said over noon that he was going to have surgery. He could have been wrong. It would never heal casting it and then trying to play with it IMO.I thought Riley said he wanted to get it cast and see if he could play. I guess you have heard something I didn't?
Sorry, I was a Mac fan well before Lindsey and Stevie joined, but you are still going to have to explain this one to me.The whole line looked more snowed than Stevie Nicks' mirror

I could be wrong but I don't think a lot of guys play hurt when they know they are hurting their team by getting beaten badly. That's pretty selfish. I've seen a lot of people play hurt when there wasn't another reasonable option or they are still getting the job done.
Obviously they didn't know his wrist was broken or he wouldn't have been out there. I'm saying from Farniok's standpoint, if I'm getting beat regularly and I've got a wrist that is hurting me, I think he takes himself out. If the arm was injured during the game it must have been very late.Farnoik obviously wasn't getting the job done. And its sometimes hard to think (as a player), I cant do it anymore, when you have a ton of heart and your very competitive. It's your teammates and coaches job sometimes to put you in check and say "dude, your hurt. you cant play"
Also, having a kid play with a broken wrist is never a reasonable option. Even if the back-ups are awful. Some things matter more than sports. Coach Booker & both of the Willams have had to do it already.

Edit: just rewatched the last half of the game focusing specifically on Farniok. He did not show any indications of an injury during the game. Not once did I see him grab or favor either wrist. Also, while he did get beat some, it wasn't as bad as I thought. On the last time that #15 went around him it looked like he thought Wilbon was there to help him and he wasn't. Not sure who that is on.
Has Knevel played more than 2-3 games in a row without injury since he got here?Think Conrad slides out, Decker at center and they will try Knevel in reserve if they have to...
Up next, Gaylord maybe, but think Jaimies (sp?) comes out of red-shirt
That's not Cav's way of doing businessI hope Knevel is ready to go. Even if he is, I think I'd go ahead and pull the redshirt from Jaimes and get him a series here and there.
I don't know which bone is fractured but according to Severe they were going to put in A pin. I'm thinking it's not a real bad deal but it just takes time to heal. Generally most long bones can heal completely in 4 weeks. Of course he probably won't be able to do much while it's healing with that hand and arm so he's going to be weak on that side. In any case I don't expect him back any time soon.I will say I do find a 4 week turn around kind of optimistic.
So is a broken wrist much quicker turn around than a dislocated wrist? David Johnson dislocated wrist and they are saying he's out until Xmas, and his injury took place before Farniok. Granted could be due to one being a ball carrier vs one not, but 4 weeks seems rather optimistic for that type of injury
Well, as was mentioned above, Knevel is very injury prone so you can either get him a series or two now or just wait until Knevel is injured again and throw Jaimes in cold. That's not Cav's way of doing business
I don't think so and he's horrible unless he's fully 100%. Hope I'm wrong but I don't see him staying healthy enough to be much of a factor this year.Has Knevel played more than 2-3 games in a row without injury since he got here?
Growing tired of average performing linemen being allowed by Cav to play with injuries. Cav should have taken him out.bone in his wrist. Sounds like he played a fair part of the game with the injury. I saw that.Growing tired of average performing linemen being allowed by Cav to play with injuries. Cav should have taken him out.
Anyone notice the backup center come in and dominate his man and then get benched right away again?
It's just weird.
