What a downfall for Washington.

Biggest surprise for me is Ole Miss @ 6....

...sleeper that could finish higher that few are expecting, since they lost arguably the best QB who entered the portal, is K-State. That kid who was behind Howard might be pretty special.

Seems like OU is always ranked pretty high in these things and its weird to see em at 14..though they've been recruiting pretty damn good. Something going on there..prolly the schedule upgrade.

Oklahoma's 2024 schedule:

Aug. 31 vs. Temple
Sept. 7 vs. Houston
Sept. 14 vs. Tulane
Sept. 21 vs. Tennessee
Sept. 28 at Auburn
Oct. 5 Idle
Oct. 12 vs. Texas (Dallas)
Oct. 19 vs. South Carolina
Oct. 26 at Ole Miss
Nov. 2 vs. Maine
Nov. 9 at Missouri
Nov. 16 Idle
Nov. 23 vs. Alabama
Nov. 30 at LSU

It's most definitely the schedule upgrade.

Oklahoma's out of conference schedule is a joke. Temple, Houston and Tulane at home to start the season. Then a joke of a game against Maine in early November for essentially an additional bye week.

one of america's best coaches taking over at houston. and tulane has been good for some time now. way better than utep, cu, uni.

ESPN rankings will have a heavy SEC bias. Plenty of other early rankings out that make our schedule look better/tougher

"bias" usually begets an element of unfairness.

4 different SEC teams have combined for 13 National Championships over the last 20 years. it only follows that they'd be ranked higher.

nope, uofa is just considered a non-conference game like playing @tulane and last year @missouri. cats play nine b12 opponents plus uofa ooc.

Wow wait till this becomes a post season issue for ccg potentially. Really don't understand that thinking. Not that hard to pickup non-conference games

Explain what some time now means to you? One of Americas best coaches??

3 seasons ago they were 2-10

ku is doing a complete redo to a soccer like stadium with around 40,000 seats. their old memorial was ten years late to renovation. they received around $65 million in state welfare payments to get it started.

Hmm not sure I care for the design. Not sure what those posts are for all around but since they're mascot is fowl ish, they can put chicken wire all around 😉
