Thanks for the info, OP. Glad he's at ASU and not Iowa. I think the kid is gunna be a good one. He will probably have a new coach next year tho.

It was funny seeing their fan base rejoice when they landed two 4* commits last April in Eno and Chevin, only to see them decommit. They like to give us crap for getting into recruiting but man they were full boar when Eno was activiley recruiting kids to Iowa.

Just asking if charges were filed. I don't care what Iowa does with their recruits. But alleging thievery based off a picture on social media is a little meh. Unless of course you were there, saw him steal it or know that he didn't buy it through university channels. I have some limited edition stuff I've purchased from a university that wasn't sold through normal channels. It doesn't make me a thief.

The kid lied to Kirk Ferentz. He committed to Iowa, then visited Mizzou and told Kirk he didn't. Also stole a hoodie from the equipment room on his visit to Iowa City. How is Iowa the dumb one here?
Don't be so sensitive. You're on a Nebraska board. I'm going to give Iowa a hard time here when they are brought up.

Not saying it's right but from what I gather part of the reason why Eno lied is because of Kirk's hardline rule on not taking visits after you commit. That's a fine rule. Just don't be shocked when it turns players away.

No. The dumbass posted a picture on instagram wearing a hoodie specially made for former Iowa football players currently in the NFL. Pretty cut and dry that he took it from our equipment room. Kirk giving him the boot was probably sufficient.

Again, how is Iowa dumb here?
I would say that it is wise for any program to send a kid away under those circumstances. Other schools might look the other way and rationalize that the talent is worth the headache and possible team chemistry issues, but I'm not in that camp. And Nebraska didn't recruit him either after that so I'm guessing Coach Riley agrees with Kirk's assessment.
