Eat your heart out all you Husker haters

We have a shot vs iowa. Their offense struggles to exploit our defensive weakness. If we play well we have a shot. Let’s go get another one boys.
Watched their game against Maryland today and was not impressed despite the final score. They looked more limited than ever and only threw laterally to TE’s, virtually no deep threat whatsoever.

A team that wants to line up and run right at us plays into our strength. Our secondary struggles and is our Achilles heel. That said; Iowa is very good at running at people. They may still win out but schematically I think it plays into our hands

I’m concerned about the counters and stretch plays they run, they could gash us if our LBs aren’t disciplined.

I am concerned that we do not have a big let down after today's emotional win. I do not want another Indiana situation on our hands where we are just not mentally prepared for the game.
I’m hoping with the monkey(more like gorilla) off their back they’ll play even better. Plus with Holgerson he’ll have something schemed up for Iowa.

It's likely, the defense will let down, but I think the NU offense will score points on a really tough defense. Offensively, the execution was really good today. As soon as they give some of Neyor's snaps to someone else we will be even better.

I don't expect EJ to have as many touches next Friday. Dana makes defensive specific plans from week to week. Iowa will try to take away some of the really good stuff we did today, but will have the guys ready with variations off those same plays, and likely some completely new plays.

I told guys before we played USC, changing an offense in 10 days is not as hard as people think. Look at the improvement in just one week against a much better defense.

Right now, Dana is working with a group of kids who really believe in him, and that's key. Whatever new he comes up with, they're gonna buy into it.

I get it. But if our guys aren’t really worried about the pass, I think we’re pretty salty against the run. Again, you may be right and we get burned. But I’d rather play a downhill running team that spread or RPO
