Looks pretty badass. What was the Friday nights reference? Is there a high school mode on this thing or something? (fd have not played '25).

I see they do have real coaches now. Doesn’t appear they will be adding NIL but have to wait for the deep dives.
In past games you were able to customize the high school your player attended, looks like CFB 26 will have the same.
On another note; I wonder if RHULE is in the game, Sarkisian and Ryan Day are in the trailer

Looks great. Still playing 2025. In fact I only play that and Zelda BOTW (trying to finally beat this because the kids got me the new one on my birthday).
My only complaint, and it's rather minor - is that AA level is too easy. Heisman is rather easy too but FFS they make the CPU DL destroy your pass pro. It's how the compensate to make the game somewhat difficult.
However, playing online or against users in Franchise it plays near perfection.

This game and the CFB magazines were such a great part of summer for me...

I’m 25-0 on the online matchups on College Football 25. Anybody who actually has some football IQ wanna play sometime? I’m not that great, the people I get matched up with just play dumb

Lots of expenses this summer might have to wait until next summer.
You’ll move up to the AA and Heisman tiers online. You’ll get some good players who play the game right and then you’ll also get the cheese ball players who run one play. There doesn’t seem to be many glitch plays.
At your stage, this late into the model year you’re playing some really terrible competition. It will get better, trust me
That’s good to hear! i like the way they do it but I wish I could advance a little faster. Some players just launch the ball deep every play and I can intercept it and play conservatively and they quit before halftime. I want to play real football and have to play with some strategy to sneak out some wins.

Hopefully some glitches get cleaned up and some better playbooks.

They changed recruiting from 40 hours for everyone when scheduling trips to location based now. Kids close to home only cost 10-15 hours. Pipelines also seem to matter more too.

I would've been in this boat too, but my sons play Fortnite, Red Dead so we got the newer systems for Christmas few years ago.I have a PS4…think about those of us that would need to buy a new system!!
I had the same experiences when playing online. Most the time users played as either Texas, bama, Oregon or Colorado... It got annoying.
If I didn't play as NU I'd use USC, mostly against the teams listed above. Did well enough, haven't played in a bit though
