Does Nebraska have a true rival. An opponent that means more than anybody else on the schedule. An opponent that we have to win for the season to be a success regardless of anything else. A rivalry like Army/Navy, tOSU/Michigan, or Alabama/Auburn. A team that everybody in the fanbase hates and wants to beat more than any other opponent every single year in every sport. A team that the players, alumni and fans care about more than any other game every year no matter if they are good or not. A team that occupies discussion throughout the year as the hate is unabated. We all hate certain teams based on where we have lived and when we became fans, but is there one universal opponent that we all hate and want to beat beyond all others?
