We had the opportunity to make a real splash hire and we got Williams, if true? I mean great we have a 3rd coach for DBs and a guy that can help out a little bit on recruiting. We needed someone to pave the way for DPE to get his touchdowns. Someone to learn Lightbourne to kick the damn ball. Instead were stuck with a guy who can help our other two DB coaches? I mean come on man, what's the point of recruiting them if he can't coach them up?
Les Miles had the opportunity to follow his boy here. Not only watch but help develop his son into an NFL caliber fullback. That man had a lot of great players come through Baton Rouge, we sure could use that help in Lincoln. I mean what a huge name hire that would have been, am I right?
