It's too early to say anything definitive, but I think that this year's safety play is going to end up being the best we've seen since 2010.

Not gonna lie, when I saw him do that I was hoping he didn't get a personal foul for taunting. I thought it was hilarious, but I was nervous that he might have been directing it towards the receiver or Oregon bench and they way they are policing celebrations now...

I don't mind the celebrations as long as there isn't a penalty but his was little over the top considering the WR had gotten more than just a couple of steps behind him and he got bailed out by an under thrown ball. To his credit he did play the ball well, however.

If the ball is thrown like it should have been, we lose the game. He was beat bad on that play.

When the camera came across to show the receiver in the screen, I about crapped myself because he was a few steps behind the safety. Luckily the QB bailed us out!

I didn't see an athletic advantage out there either. Sure they had some speed, but so did we....there defense was not faster than our offense.

Our QB with cramp legs out ran their secondary for a TD.

I bet it was nice for Riley to give Oregon a dose of their own medicine.

He was beat and a better pass from the quarterback would have been 6. I'm not sure why he was taunting so much.

You know, my friend was at the game and mentioned that! He thought the reason why Oregon was getting flagged for so many pass interference calls was because their DB's were actually getting smoked by our receivers way more than they expected, so they were holding on for lack of a better idea. Anyone else notice that?

Saying you're faster than Oregon is REALLY saying something.

I think it had less to do with our speed at WR and more to do with the quality of the routes we were running. KW has done a phenomenal job with the wideouts, and when you focus on the details of perfecting your routes, being faster than the DB isn't necessary, and I don't think it was the case on Saturday either. On the flip side, there are plenty of amazing athletes that "allow" themselves to be covered because of lazy and imprecise route running. Our route running is what will get us open and force DBs to hold and interfere more than our speed.

For all the talk about Oregon losing their RB early in the game, I thought about what if Brandon Reilly would have been able to play? He could have been the biggest match up problem for them.

Receiver is still the best position group on the team, and it showed Saturday. I still laugh at the idiots who bitch during the game when Langsdorf calls a pass. Nebraska doesn't win that game had it not been for the PI's and of course TA's 4th down pass to Westy.

Yes, he was beat and you hope that doesn't happen but the front seven forced the QB off the spot. This forced a bad/underthrown ball. It takes all eleven!
