Really? As a fan I had no say. I’m also not a big time booster. And I don’t have any pull in the AD. But someone did, and there were probably enough people of substance who did that he was kept on.

Call out the big time boosters and the power players all you want, but understand that the members of this board had 0 input on Frost’s retention to start this year.

Moos would have had to show up for work first. The 2nd year he was here on basketball senior day… when we got a bite to eat after the game, he was absolutely smoked at a damn wing place across town. He was ushered out by a couple guys when it was obvious he wasn’t going to be able to safely walk out on his own.
If this is true how dysfunctional is/was the Athletic Department. .....maybe more rotten wood needs taking out?

I’ve said it for a long time. Anyone that covered for him (basically all the brass in the department) needs to go. North stadium was an absolute shit show with Moos and Frost. If you know how things work at the University, it would be very easy for this to happen. There are so many people (with meaningless titles and jobs) all over that campus, that are the epitome of lazy, entitled zombies. Why would those kind of cowards risk losing their free pay day?
Down there it’s either “go along or go away”. The whole system needs bleached. They could fire 50% of the “employees” on campus tomorrow, and nobody would even notice they are gone.
The lazy, entitled zombies is a big reason why college has gotten so expensive.
The rural counties around me did a study about K-12 education funding and the numbers were something like in the last 10 years the student population rose 10%, the number of teachers rose 6% and the number of administrators rose 86%. Education is so bloated its ridiculous.

I have contracted some work down there the last few years (because they throw wastefully throw money around, just so they can claim they need more for next years budget). I could walk you through administration offices, and you would be dumbfounded. If they bother to show up, it is crazy what you see. People sleeping at desks, ignoring phones, etc. The laziness has directly lead to the woke bs, because they don’t possess the fortitude to push back against the crazyness that has invaded campuses. It’s not the kids fault they are being controlled by the few mentally ill individuals who think the only way to be “successful” is to live off the government tit. Also, the heavier the women, the brighter the hair…. And the worse their attitudes are. They literally walk around looking for reasons to be offended.

Meh. Juvenile is defending that shit show for years, because people think their white knight act will score points.
Most of it was wishful thinking that he could score ONE more freaking time per game. THAT would have dramatically changed the conversation. I didn’t understand the love for Chin last year at all and at I hadn’t heard what was going on behind the scenes until this fall. Credit to those of you who knew. Just another chapter of the dysfunctional mess we’ve had since Tom retired.

I just enjoy the discussion on this board and prefer it more when it’s civil. I understand you being perturbed at those of us willing to give Frost this past fall. IF I had been privy to more than the rumors on this board I would have been pretty vocal long ago that he needed to leave. Unfortunately my best contact in Lincoln retired and isn’t as connected as he once was. 😕
