Wait, wasn't your claim that HH was the clear #2? Refresh my memory, not being a smart ass, I just don't remember and I'm too lazy slash don't give enough of a shit to go look it up.

Same with QB too..It’s an “OR” so I guess we’ll have to wait and see.
2020 was his Covid season..Is Rahmir Johnson on the Tanner Morgan plan? How is he just a junior?
Rhule spelled it out. Down 2 scores and Purdy is it. Flip it for HH. No idea with a tie.I see the backup QB looking like this, if we need to hold onto a game late, HH is the guy.
If it’s a long term injury, it’s Purdy.
HH is hard to deal with mid-game. He’s a big dude and a great runner. Which is hard to adjust to without a bunch of prep.
Purdy is a better passer and can do more all around. Easier to build a full game offensive plan around.
He's looked very explosive in the shots I've seen. He's added weight but due to his size he's better as an rotational piece to keep him from getting beat up. I think he and Prince will have similar roles this season. Shocker is no Juedy but I'm sure he'll play a lot
That’s why HH will be filling the #2 line all year - because Rhule doesn’t plan on being down baby!!!!!Rhule spelled it out. Down 2 scores and Purdy is it. Flip it for HH. No idea with a tie.
Yeah but Washington is coming off a broken hand so not that much of a surprise.Notable to me:
Bullock over Washington
Wallin is such a different body type and size than Robinson
Haven't heard much of anything about Bretz but he is the top backup at a safety spot.
Left Hartzog at corner. That means they either weren't totally comfortable with Hill or comfortable with the other safetys.
Can't remember where I watched him but I really like Evans-Jenkins. Nice having a center waiting in the wings rather then just moving someone else who has obvious flaws into center.
At many of the spots who is listed 2nd or 3rd may not matter much. They’ve said they’re planning to play a lot of people.I'm sure there will be alot of rotation on the DL and LB
I get that Fidone will get his touches but TE is still a surprise to me
I get that, but it seems like he came in 2013 or so…2020 was his Covid season..
Yeah, they soooo ****ed up that Covid year thing.I get that, but it seems like he came in 2013 or so…

As it should - need to see who steps up with the pressure.
he is
all this chatter about purdy and his experience and his great camp and he couldn't even overtake Haarberg on the depth chart
only time we'll see chubba is if we're getting our asses kicked, which is exactly what Rhule said
Haarberg can run the same exact offense as Sims
Haarberg is the backup OR we're getting beat by so much they put purdy inHow is -OR- the clear #2 in your eyes?
Haarberg is the backup OR we're getting beat by so much they put purdy in
Rhule literally said this
not sure why so many fans love to argue against our head coach
Based on what?[
Fidone will still have more receiving yards and TD’s..
therein lies the danger of headline readingThought it was if we're up it's HH and if we're down it's Purdy? Didn't hear what he said...just what I read on here.
Funny thing is I don’t see a 1 or 2 in front of anybody’s name on the actual depth chart. Who plays at TE for instance I expect to be situational. We could come out in a 2 TE set first series at MN.zero surprise at TE, also
I expect Boerkircher to out-snap Fidone by a fairly significant margin over the course of the seasonFunny thing is I don’t see a 1 or 2 in front of anybody’s name on the actual depth chart. Who plays at TE for instance I expect to be situational. We could come out in a 2 TE set first series at MN.
Different skill set IMO. Boerkircher I believe is a better run blocker. IF we’re committed to running the ball I would expect Boerkircher to maybe get more snaps. I expect to see a lot of 2 TE setsI expect Boerkircher to out-snap Fidone by a fairly significant margin over the course of the season
I agree both will play together a lot. different skill sets.
not a knock on Fidone - they both look like really nice weapons in this offense.
if we're not committed to running the ball, everything Rhule has said since day 1 of taking this job has been a lie.Different skill set IMO. Boerkircher I believe is a better run blocker. That's when you bring in the punter to play QB like Parcells did in 99!Rhule spelled it out. Down 2 scores and Purdy is it. Flip it for HH. No idea with a tie.
Understand that feeling as well. The youngest guys I want to think set up better for the system the staff wants to run.yeah, I get it, but this also worries the hell out of me.
Get to a bowl and I'm satisfied with this season. That's the first step.I think kool aid tastes good, but I have concerns… hopefully, based more on past trauma then current reality.
If Rhule gets this team to 7+ wins, then he’s a goddamn genius.
I think he’s the #6 d lineman and one of the other 4 would likely line up there if Ty was out.No doubt on Wallin.
We get skinny on the DL quick after the first group.
