It's interesting that Mike McDaniel was once a rabid Broncos fan, and in fact was a Broncos ball boy. And yes, he did look like Pete Davidson.

lot of rumors here on the front range about ownership having zero interest in hiring McDaniel two years ago because of his relationship to the Shanahans
needless to say, this is far from the franchise Pat Bowlen made famous
Russ is playing in Denver like a lot of us in the Northwest already knew. His last two years in Seattle he had good stats, but in both years especially in the second half of the season he was missing easy passes high to the receivers, he was taking stupid sacks running around not get away from the rush and he always had trouble with the play clock. Pete Carroll is not the best coach when it come to the clock management. Combine that with Russ and sometimes it was too maddening to watch. Seahawks lost a game late in the season at home with the Rams or maybe it was the 49ers when they got the ball to the 2 needing a score with just seconds left and Russ let the play clock expire. The penalty backed the Seahawks 5 yards and then they didn't score. I used to always just watch the Seahawks in the 4th quarter because that is when they had to scramble for a win.
Russ leads the NFL with his fragile ego. I think there was some talk for the HOF after the two Super Bowl appearances, but I agree with some talking heads that think Russ is playing his way out of consideration.
Lastly, I know I've written this before about the Super Bowl loss to Patriots. Pete Carroll and/or OC Darrell Bevel called the stupid pass play that lost the game, but I remind everyone that it was Russ who threw the pass. Somehow, he has managed to receive no blame for doing so. It was not 4th down! It was second and goal. 29 seconds to go in the game. Russ could have thrown the ball into the seats. He choked. Watched the replay. You can see it in his facial expression. Flip the teams. Would Brady have thrown the ball in the same situation?

I may be wrong on that....I heard that trade happened. I am not sure it actually did??? Cannot find confirmation anywhere...scratch that post.
don't get me wrong, I'd love it if the Boyz gave us a 2nd or 3rd for Jeudy....it's shaping up to be a lost year so you may as well stock up draft capitol and try and get as close to the #1 pick as you can....sadly, Denver will probably win a game or 2 that will kick them out of that discussion and we'll take a safety or tight end with our 5th pick
I'd do it if I were Denver...and i'd figure out a way to get out from under Wilson to. Even if you have to eat a chunk...which they would.
