Deion had the right idea

The ASU coach should get some mention also. In his second year, he has ASU at 8-2 after taking over a three-win team.
yep

Deion is a joke and would have been exposed in a conference that wasn't made up of leftovers and secondary teams.
I'm afraid the "joke" will once again be on us as we watch his team compete for a conference title and playoff birth from the comfort of our couches

when was the last time a coach developed 2 Heisman finalists in the same season?

Deions kids won’t be a Hiesman finalist.

Nebraska lost to UCLA with a Head Coach with ZERO experience.

I was there and I can’t explain it either. Although I think Riola should’ve taken off not when we absolutely need to score and take a hit he didn’t need to take, but many times before that to break them out of man coverage. When you’re in man coverage, there’s no one who has eyes on the quarterback, that is in a position to do something when the quarterback takes off

My post was about Deion. Nothing you added addresses it so I'm not sure why you quoted me.
You're saying that Deion would hypothetically be exposed if he wasn't playing in a conference made up of leftovers and secondary teams.

Meanwhile- Matt Rhule lost to UCLA at home and got completely outcoached by a first year head coach.

Matt Rhule is actually losing to the leftover/secondary teams that you claim Deion would hypothetically lose to.

The “right way” goes 0-6 to finish the season he should be shown the “right way” out of here.
We need some transfer portal guys who can make a difference. Kind of like the volleyball team has in Taylor Landfair, or more probably beeson. Dardell is good, but not a difference maker. Who is our best transfer guy –Buschini?

USC a leftover program – seriously? UCLA may only be average, but they’re not exactly Kansas right now, or Oklahoma State.

So, just to clarify, you're saying he wouldn't have as good of a record if he had a schedule as tough as ours?
OP is talking about the Big 10 and Big 12 conferences in general. To answer your question No Colorado would not have a 6-1 conference record in the Big playing Nebraskas schedule.

Kansas just beat the #6 team in the country on the road at night in front of a national tv audience

Something that will take us perhaps the better part of this century to accomplish at our current pace

Yes he pry is the best one and i agree with your post

Beating Deion is likely to go down as the signature moment of Rhule’s entire tenure at NU

Our players don’t know to win. And when new players arrive, they teach them how to lose. Losing perpetuates itself.

Sometimes you need a transfusion.
Cutting corners in practice, for instance, can be passed down from generation to generation. I remember talking to a guy who's nephew was a scout team D-lineman. That Cotton kid who started cornered him one day and told him to stop going hard in practice against him because it would make him look bad. That's just an example of what happens in a losing culture and this program exhibits all of the signs of a losing culture.

Everyone expected this year to be even worse for Deion. Next year everyone expects him to leave after his sons are gone. What will be the excuse if Deion stays at Colorado and still wins? I hate Deion and I hate seeing Colorado do better than us even more, but we a still a clown show while people are no longer laughing at them.

We have a bunch of portal guys starting or playing a lot

Banks
Neyor
Scott
Mazz
Ceyair
Dardell
Buschini
Sherman
Thompson
Jeudy (may not play a ton)

I agree. We've had a lot of disappointments. Whatever happened to those two hyped WR transfers? Can't get open, can't make contested catches, can't block. We now know why Neyor road the bench at Texas.

There’s rumor of Deion flipping some stud QB for next year. Maybe his model is more sustainable than originally thought. A CFP #4 seed solidifies his sales pitch.

Ceyair Wright is a stud. Buschini as well. Jeudy is undersized. The other guys are just guys. Just good enough to keep their starting spot (I guess) but they aren't outplaying anyone across from them on any Saturdays.

yep

my favorite is "we'll see how he does without 2 Heisman candidates"

which completely ignores the fact he developed those Heisman candidates

And potentially two top 5 NFL picks.

Deion could easily sway some studs from portal or HS on the notion that he can make them just as rich, famous and successful as those guys. He clearly gets credit for developing them, and only one of them is his son.

True of our entire team. Has been for years. Coaching or talent?

Little from column A, a little from column B.

With you on that-a true freshman is our best WR and is small.

Forgot about ceyair-Wow! We need more like him.

He’s good at the us against them melanin deal. But we creamed them, so how good is his team?
And I don’t think we’re terrible, we just have an inexperienced quarterback and wide receiver crew that don’t scare anyone. You can’t man up against stud receivers, or against a quarterback that knows when to takeoff and get 4-6 yards to keep the chains moving

Do any of you even bother to look at strength of schedule? Theirs is tougher than ours. At least attempt to be somewhat objective between your homer apologist posts and anti Deion posts. Or don’t and just keep looking dumber and dumber.

Yes. Our SOS is #14 and theirs is #73.

They have beat no good teams and have lost two to an average team and a bad team.
