He also gets the chance to beat the brakes off of Nebraska nemesis' in Clempson, Miami, and Florida State on an annual basis.
Nemesis'? I could give a F$%# about those programs until we meet them in the playoffs and I don't see that happening before Kaelin is out of college.

I’ve never once considered any team outside of our conference a “nemesis”. We don’t even play those teams. We’ve played Miami twice in the last 20 years and Clemson once that I remember. Nemesis Lol 🤣
He's got the physical tools to play, can his mind carry him into a starting role? Hope he has a great career at Virginia.

Teams that kept us from winning another 4 or 5 National Titles aren't nearly as important as our rivalries with Kansas and Iowa State.
Yeah, 30 years ago. They aren’t our nemesis anymore. Like I said we don’t play those teams anymore and we most certainly don’t play them for anything of significance. If you look at them that way I don’t really care. I just don’t think of them that way and I lived through the 80s and 90s of Husker football.
Great for DK. I get to root for him. Huge Uva basketball fan here. Don't follow the football team much at all but I will have a reason to check them out now. I hope DK lights it up.

Glad he didn't re-connect with Mizzu, he made the right choice, and I wish him nothing but success. Kaelin was smart enough to know his talents would never be enough to see the field early at Nebraska with the way Nebraska's QB room is starting to stack up. Daniel can now compete at Virgina with a real chance of seeing significant playing time. Good luck to a good player and person.
Pretty sure he was like our 4th string qb this season. Wish him well but he wasn't going to see the field here.
Sucks for him...VA is severely lacking in funding their football program and don't take it seriously at all.
