Daniel Bullocks | Assistant Defensive Backs
Bullocks, 33, enters his first season as the 49ers assistant defensive backs coach after spending the 2016 season in the same role with the Jacksonville Jaguars. In 2015, he spent one season at Eastern Michigan University as an assistant coach/cornerbacks. Bullocks initially entered the coaching ranks in 2012 at the University of Northern Iowa, where he was the assistant coach/secondary for three seasons (2012-14). Originally a 2nd round draft choice (40th overall) of the Detroit Lions in the 2006 NFL Draft, he appeared in 31 games (22 starts) over his four seasons in Detroit. Bullocks totaled 115 tackles, four passes defensed, three fumble recoveries, one forced fumble and 1.0 sack during his NFL career. A native of Chattanooga, TN, he played safety at the University of Nebraska (2001-05), where he earned Second-Team All-Big 12 honors as a junior and senior.
