I don’t care about his season stats. He makes the big plays to win games because he is a great QB. The Chiefs have had OL and WR injuries/issues this year, hamstringing their offense. Not because Mahomes suddenly forgot how to play the position. But they still win and are in better shape on both accounts than they have been all year.

Refs are terrible. Today a Cleveland browns defender stepped on the ball carrier who was laying on the ground, then he proceeded to give a Chief's assistant coach a hard shove in the chest. The ref was standing right next to the browns player and called a penalty on Kansas City.

Listen, I hate the Chiefs as much as anyone but don’t be this guy…I was once this guy…the Chiefs are the champs until they aren’t…playoff football at Arrowhead is not going to be easy for any team facing against Mahomes, Reid and company…nothing would please me more than to see them be a first round out but you’re setting yourself up for disappointment if you try to convince yourself they are anything but Super Bowl favorites…that said, Go Broncos! You literally said he isn’t a Top 5 QB in the AFC. I listed all the reasons the Chiefs have been a dominant team the last six years ( as opposed to your the referees gift them games because of Taylor Swift theory) and you fired back with that. I don’t buy that he isn’t a top QB anymore.

There is a big difference between having the best stats in a given year and being the best player. Even if his numbers are not as good this year, he is still one of the best and a big reason that Chiefs will be hard to beat. BTW even in this down year the guy finished 7th in the NFL in passing yards.

Would you really rather have Geno Smith or Baker Mayfield with the football in their hands at the end of the game because they threw for more yards this year?
