He’s not wrong. In that conference to make what he makes 4-4 should be asked a ton of hard questions.
I can’t stand Dabo. But that’s not really a hard question is just a dick question. Hard questions are about decisions to play certain players, in game decisions, hiring. That was just a big look at me question. And Dabo handled poorly, fwiw.
Ya . If a reporter asks that question.( doubtful they would) but then I would give that response. A fan asking ( Dick fan) he still needs to be more careful with the answer.

Dabo has lost a lot of talented but he's also recruited a ton of talent. He's reluctant to play the NIL game and the portal game and his team is paying for it. He's also lost two very good coaches and hasn't replaced them with equal to better quality. Finally he doesn't have Watson/Lawrence level QB play nor the WR they had during their great years. It's a combination of a lot of things that lead to this point.

90% of the fan base is normal, they are your casual fan. 10% are the fanatics that are jackasses, that know more than the coaches, that know what the players should do and so on. Media is the same way.
It is like I always say, the coaches hate the annoying fans and rightfully so, because us annoying fans hate the coaches when they are not doing what we think they should be doing.
It is like a marriage that is clearly coming to an end but neither person wants to admit yet, so they just keep annoying the shit out of each other.
If you literally dominate the sport for over a decade with 13 straight ten win seasons,8 conference championships and 2 national titles, no fan who isn't an idiot should be upset about a mediocre season. Other than saban and smart no coach has earned his contract more than dabo. Clemson's success is also all dabo. They were a mediocre program for most of their history before he took over. This isn't a Ryan day situation where the results are good but he inherited a ferrari
They have a little more history than you are giving them credit for. Danny Ford had them humming for a good decade or so as well.

Probation wasn't brought up. I think that is true but the initial point was that they basically had no history. As college football fans we know that probation or NCAA sanctions don't erase what we seen with our own eyes
