It's a good day not to complain. Scaling 100' cliffs with 80 lbs of gear. All while bullets rain around you.
Might also be useful to remember WHY these heroes had to do what they did and go where they went. And after you have remembered it, make a promise to yourself to never let it happen again. And if you see it happening again, do whatever you can to prevent it from getting to the point where millions of lives need to be lost to end it.
Millions of innocents being killed? Some because they are found to be disabled? Seems to be going on right now in America. History will not remember the supporters well...glad im not one of them.

The entire story with the spies and misinformation, Hitler's completely screwed up military hierarchy/chain of command, the weather forecasting, Eisenhauer's prepared letter/statement drafted if the invasion failed, Rommel going home the day before for his birthday, it's all just fascinating.
I love the history of WW2. My grandpa who I never met served under Patton and am fascinated by any and all Ww2 history. The greatest generation to have lived. Much respect.
