CU Coach Sanders may get foot amputated...

So many people getting clots the last couple years.........
IKR? Happens all the time its a coinkidink scientific facts and OMG REAL doctors be damned and stuff because it doesn't fit. Brushed aside. Uncomfortable truths.
I don't like Deion's schtick because it was old 26 years ago but I'm not gonna wish bad juju on the guy because I don't need that bad karma in my life. I have enough as it is from the distant past.
I want to see him healthy and on the field where he can be embarrassed. By coach Rhule.

Curious. Do you have to actually KNOW them? Personally?
Just because a bunch of people tell their entire lives to the world in 2023 doesn't mean something happens more or less. I had a family member who had blood clots in the 90's (not Tommie Frazier). I haven't known anyone with a blood clot issue since. So when people talk about all the blood clot issues it makes me wonder if I randomly just hang out with a group of people immune to blood clots or if the other people are exaggerating.

So the fact that more people share their information now than they did in the 90's, wouldn't be a hint to you that more people would know, or have heard of, more people having blood clots in 2023 than in the 90's?

The number of occurrences may indeed be similar, but the known cases could give the impression that more exist. OR perhaps more exist because of a forced jab where no one had any idea about potential side effects.

I guess either could be true.

The roster in Boulder is pretty bad right now, weren't they expecting a bunch of transfers before the season? If he can't coach how many guys are going to stick around?
Trev really dodged a bullet not taking prime.

Actually, yes. Have had a family member, a couple friends, and have heard of several acquaintances who had some clot issues. Way more than I ever remember in the past.

Could be that people are just more open in sharing this type of info. Or maybe, just maybe, it could be that a whole lot of people got injected with a substance where one of the known side effects is blood clots.

I don't know........

btw, nobody in Prime's/CU's camp released anything about this emergency surgery

he talked to his friend Pacman Jones, who was at his bedside after his first surgery in 2021, privately the day before & Pacman told McAfee

Deion is famous, so the story is deemed (accurately) newsworthy

First Neon, then Prime, now Hopalong,

OK, before you come unglued I normally don’t make jokes about physical disabilities and blood clots, but made an exception for this hotdog.

Can’t route against him with having the medical issues he’s having. I hope he pulls through and we can have a good heated rival.

I'm not saying there hasn't been a blood clot because of the vaccine. I have serious doubts that an unbiased person or group has scientifically proven it one way or another. I think most people walking around base their opinions on the subject on social media.

Interesting. It has been a very polarizing issue for my wife's family and my family. I would say my friends, family, and co-workers are split 50/50 on vaccinated/unvaccinated. And like I said, no instances of blood clots.

Well, there has been documentation. By doctors. You know, those highly educated/experienced individuals who you're supposed to trust the science...or else?
Its a little early for 100%, which makes it fun because people can cling to their masters dingleberries and still deny it.
Hard to tell what's fact or lie anymore. Especially when you're told one thing is the truth and then 3 years later it comes out you were right to be wary.

ESPN has an article saying the foot doesn't need to be amputated. It also says he made a video of the doctors appointment that has already aired.

Like I said... attention... attention... attention.

I would say my posts have aged quite well. If he's missing a foot for our game feel free to point it out in the game thread.

All these posts have the raunchy stank of an attention whore IMO

Not going to go track down and reread some crap I read about 6 months ago about it so...isnt he already missing part of his foot or some digits at least?

yikes

post above this one aged very poorly

wishing Neon & family well. tough times.

They said on ESPN he will have a procedure done to remove blood clots will not have his foot taken off . That’s good news. I have news for the clown that reported. You can’t have emergency surgery the next day.

I was assured by ESPN it would rival the best of the SEC and multiple 5 stars we comin!

Havent really paid much attention. Did he NOT get all the superstars he planned to? Serious question.

Prime's class this year includes as many 5* recruits as we've signed since 2000

definitely not SEC caliber, however

ESPN? Shit this board declared he was the best hire of the off season, would have 5 stars beating down the door to play for him, and would win multiple championships.

Wasn’t your argument that he should’ve kept it to himself like you, a hero, did?
He made a video. Of his doctor appointment. He's a football coach. Why would he do that other for attention? Not sure why this upsets you so much.

Not spilling medical information doesn't make me modest. It just means I'm not an attention whore. Maybe this hits home with you? Do you post doctor appointments on YouTube like Deion?

what does posting repeatedly about not doing something make someone?

asking for a friend

Is this akin to posting on a thread about a particular subject by stating that you, in fact, do not care about the particular subject?

Also asking for a friend.
the inevitable "why you mad, bro?!" portion is always particularly delightful

classic

From what I saw he's good on skill positions but his lines are full of transfers from fcs schools and guys who've never played P5 football. They'll probably try to line up 5 wide and run tempo.

Not even remotely true. He has one HS recruit.

We have had recruits:

Demario Williams
Zach Bowman
Marlon Lucky
Andre Jones
Baker Steinkuhler

You could also give him credit for Hunter who was a 5-star in HS. If so, we would also have:

MJ Sherman
Arik Gilbert
Tyreke Johnson

Take this for what it's worth. I knew a woman that was 40 years old and a non smoker that had a massive stroke a couple years ago and died a week later in hospital because of it. She had stroke two weeks after taking johnson and Johnson vaccine. Fast forward to three weeks ago and a guy I work with that was 27 years old dropped dead in his recliner out his house. They performed an autopsy and found he had numerous clots. I had conversations with him in the past and he was not in favor of vaccine, but did talk about getting it because of family members that was in contact with. Now I don't know if he ever got it, but.....

Actuually @king_kong_ is right. Two since 2000...Chris Septak (2000) and Marlon Lucky (2005)

The rest of the guys you listed were 3 and 4 stars. As for Travis Hunter, yeah he was a 5 star in HS, but he was also a 5 star transfer (and the number 1 overall player in both). The guys you listed were 3 and 4 star transfers.

I'm sure there are other recruiting services that have them tweaked one way or the other a little here and there. Regardless, that's pretty mind blowing. Not that Deion had two 5 stars in his first class (honestly thought he'd have more - I'm sure he would have if he had been at Nebraska) but that we've only had 2 in the last 23 year. That's just...wow!
