Cross to LBer

,
Chris Weber is a walk on. He has been serviceable but is not going to allow us to beat elite talent like Ohio State in the Big 10 championship game. Beats the alternative of burning redshirts on frosh.

This ....he's a walk on , gets old......Chris has size and speed

and looks pretty good out their . watch the film and you can see his speed.

It may work out, but I just don't see Cross as a good LB'er. Very bad acceleration and I'd be curious of desire, tackling, etc. Cody Glenn did alright, but it took a good click of time as well. I guess we will see.
Seems a little late but our RB coach is a stickler on ball security and I don't think Cross has played since his last fumble. Methinks maybe he was told he wasn't going to play RB anymore and that he might want to find a new position. Cross is a really bright kid and if he played LBer in high school which I believe he did, he might pick it up quickly. We're in a world of hurt there and physically he fits. Can't be much worse than running out a freshman walk on that wasnt on the 105 fall roster.

Are they doing stretching? Are you serious? Like really serious?

Anyone who knows anything about strength training, etc. knows the importance of stretching. You'll be more flexible, better flow to the muscles and less prone to injury. Many of us neglect a good old stretch, get in to the habit of it and you'll see yourself sitting in better physical condition.

I don't agree one bit. It has now been over nine months since these guys have been hired. You can't blame the S&C injuries/problems on Bo's staff.
If you think 9 months is enough time to make serious improvements for the level of sport these guys play then you are out to lunch. They can improve but it takes some time to train to an elite level.
