If you don't like it leave it USA #1Connor Cook hates America.
He basically admitted as much. He said, (paraphrasing) "On the last drive we passed it once and ran it I think 22 times so this award goes to the Oline. This is for you guys (looking down acknowledging his Oline)." So kudos for Cook on that.If he apologizes for anything it should be for receiving the award. While it's not his fault his right shoulder is a mess, he did little to win the game. Of course it was such a team effort it was probably tough to pick a single star.

Remember he plays QB, is a senior and their all time record holder for wins and his teammates did NOT elect him a team captain this year ... Something is a bit off.
It looked like he did not even know who Archie Griffin was.
He did apologize after seeing the video, and it seemed sincere. http://247sports.com/Bolt/People-got-mad-at-Connor-Cook-for-the-way-he-grabbed-a-trophy-41782844No apology, just excuses is what I got out of those tweets.
Just like Tommie Frazier.Remember he plays QB, is a senior and their all time record holder for wins and his teammates did NOT elect him a team captain this year ... Something is a bit off.
Hello offended people...Archie Griffin went to The Ohio State...not much love lost between these two schools or their alumnus either.
He did lead the epic drive down Iowas throat. A 3rd down completion between 2 Iowa defenders, and let's not forget the 4th and 2 run for a first downThe bigger question is, "Who voted for him to be the MVP of that game?" That was a game that was all about the defense. Cook was only 50% for the game, threw for under 200 yards, had an interception and zero touchdowns. His qb rating was 33.3. If it has to be an offensive player give it to the freshmen back. Otherwise, start looking on the defense.
P.S. I am sure the team leaving had to do with them thinking, "How the heck did he win the MVP? We won in spite of him."
