I'm of the belief Riley and his staff need more time than 3 years to rebuild this once proud program. The reasons why Riley should be retained and or fired have been covered ad nauseam so respectfully please keep that out of this thread.
For those on team "Fire Riley", maybe you can convince me/us as to why Frost and his staff would be better. I know Frost's background and coaching history. What I know nothing about is the staff he'll bring with him (most likely).
Is Frost's DC more accomplished than Diaco? Do they have recruiters on par with the Williamsx2 at WR and DB. Would Frost keep Parella or does he have someone with more Blackshirts enthusiasm and coaching ability? Would Frost's D match up well against power running attacks like iowa and Wisconsin?
I'll be honest, I do like Frost's offense and think it could work here, but how would it work the next 1-3 years with guys like Lee, O'Brien, and Gebbia running it?
Sorry for all the questions, but there should be things considered when wanting to fire the current staff and bring in a brand new staff. I'm sure all the Frost experts (from watching UCF for all of a few games) on RSS can help fill me in on our "maybe" next coach.
TIA
