The Oakland Atheltics have just promoted LHP/RHP Pat Venditte to their MLB team. If he gets in a game, he will become only the second ambidextrous pitcher to play MLB since 1900. He, of course, pitched for Creighton and was signed by the Yankees. Came real close to being called up by them, but never made it till he was traded to Oakland. His dad was one hell of a catcher when Fast Pitch Omaha was the best in the land. His Dad is one proud papa in Omaha. Congrats to Pat Sr also.
