You would think if there was one thing this fan base could unite on, it's this. The guy grew up in our state, led us to a national title as a QB, played in the NFL as a DB, learned under some of the greatest coaches of all time, served as a coordinator for one of the most explosive programs in the nation, took over a WINLESS program and has it unbeaten and ranked in YEAR 2 and is reportedly in heavy demand.
There's no guarantee any coach will bring us back to championship-level football. But geez, this may literally be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and the biggest no-brainer we'll ever be faced with. As another poster posted last week, sometimes the obvious answer is the correct answer.
Instead, some of us are clamoring for ... Dan Mullen? Really?
