I was just curious how Husker Tim was so ademate with his "info" yet yourself, who I assume has connections, thinks he is an Iowa lean. So I was just asking questions.
How does Iowa compare to the Huskers when it comes to DBs in the NFL? The Hawkeye said hed get top teir coaching for getting ready for the NFL if he chooses Iowa. Now he didn't say it wouldn't happen at Nebraska but the vibe i got was hed be better off if he picked Iowa over the Huskers if he wanted to get to the NFL. Not sure about Iowa but there is a lot of Husker DBs in the NFL and without looking for sure, I'm GUESSING the Huskers got Iowa beat pretty soundly with Husker DBs in the NFL compared to Iowa DBs in the NFL.
Is this serious? We've had a ton of DB's in the NFL, but that was previous staffs. Our current DB coach used to be the DC for the Cowboys and he has put every boundary corner he's coached in college (starters I assume) in the NFL.

Iowa now has 5 in the NFL with BJ Lowery being signed by the Broncos. To what capacity these players are could be debatable but they are in the NFL so they obviously have the talent.
Iowa has basically averaged one secondary player drafted per year. I'm not sure if Lomax will get drafted this year or not to be honest.
It wasn't a swipe at Nebraska at all. The Pelini staff did a good job of getting players into the NFL even though overall, Nebraskas defenses weren't good.
But now you have a new staff with a record of developing players so who knows at this point.
Like I said earlier, his highlight tape was completely under whelming to me. But I do trust Coach Parker and Ferentz.
Peelini coached at Nebraska prior to joining the B1G, you may want to know WTF you're talking about before popping off.
As much as I am not a Bo fan, that 2009 defense was outstanding. Truly remarkable defense. If there was any semblance of offense, we would have been really tough to beat that year.
