Looking at the past couple of weeks with Sarkisian (drunk) Briles (bringing in a woman beater) and even Harbaugh (has done nothing except appear to be a grump), I couldn't be happier with the guy Nebraska landed. I know, I know... results on the field matter, but if we assume Riley knows his stuff (all evidence suggests he doe), I'm so happy to have a man of class on the sideline representing the University.
I also think it will show when he wins his fair share of recruits against the aforementioned coaches. No matter what everyone thinks, parents still want their kids to be developed and turned into successful young men, and I think Riley represents that notion incredibly well.
He has a nice track record of turning guys into NFL players in a smaller school and places a strong emphasis on developing men. I think that is a compelling case that will result in strong classes and success on the field.
Personally, I'm #AllRiledUp.
