the pundits have to do a funny dance on this one, especially leading up to the draft:
"Shadeur is amazing because look what he did with zero talent at Colorado"
"Deion is amazing because look at all the talent and attention he brough to Colorado"
the reality is, Deion has made them an above average team. i'd compare them to a lesser version of Mike Leach's Texas Tech teams. you can dislike Deion and still admit they are better with him than without him.
Lol ignorance and double standards are blissNah..I'm good.
Holla
White Knights for Deion booster group would be wild.If having the same three fanboys that have been on his sack since Day One White Kinighting for him is "doing work" then yes, I suppose he is.
Did anyone say those 2 things in this thread?Sounds similar to some posters here:
"Deion sucks and the only reason he has a decent record is because sCUm had a weak schedule. They barely beat anyone"
"Matt Rhule's biggest win is against sCUm"
He’s right, if it didn’t happen in this thread then it never happened at allDid anyone say those 2 things in this thread?

here's the king of downplaying CU's record calling our win over them not just the biggest in Rhule's time here but the biggest win in nearly 9 years:Share with us where someone said those 2 things in the same month.
2015 MSU
Question was biggest since. That was the last one bigger than this I could think of (but 2016 Oregon and 2019 MSU were also felt pretty big at the time).
The question also wasn’t best team we have beat since. Yes, Iowa in 2022 was a better team, but that game didn’t mean much. We had a lame duck coach and we’re starting over again after that game. This one was a very anticipated game, with a huge audience that feels like it could be a springboard for our program.
So still no proof of people saying those 2 things?here's the king of downplaying CU's record calling our win over them not just the biggest in Rhule's time here but the biggest win in nearly 9 years:

We did kick Colorado's ass on the field last year, as much as a couple of posters in here like to forget it happened. We were a much better team than they were, but their coach used to run fast so Deion's super fans will gloss over that game and their powder puff schedule and continue to take shots at "our" coach. Just a bizarre dynamic.
No that's not the same thing. Good try thoughsame guy:
Let’s examine, shall we?No that's not the same thing. Good try though

Well you’re stupid if you think it wasn’t.I never said Matt Rhule’s biggest win was CU or anything like that.
Correct.I never said Matt Rhule’s biggest win was CU or anything like that. That’s just some narrative in your head, that you think means something. In fact you’ve been crying in this very thread that I won’t go along with your imaginary narrative.
I did say I enjoyed Nebraska kicking their ass last year. As all Nebraska fans should have. I also said that you would ignore that fact and ignore SCUM’s pathetic schedule while propping up “Prime”, which was correct.
I don't blame anyone using you as an example.I don’t know what’s funnier…the second dumbest person on this board somehow thinking he can talk his way out of this little conundrum, or the dumbest person on this board being used as the example. Gold!
Question for you, @GBRforLife1 …what’s our biggest win at Nebraska under Rhule?
Second question…how good is sCUm under Deion?
I’ll let you take this one in the same thread and the same month since that seems to be what matters most to you.
Correct.
You said it was our biggest win since 2015.
They finished in the AP top 25.Not that there have been that many to chose from, but our (I’m referring to Nebraska here) last bowl win was in 2015, so the Bowl win would probably be our best win. We did look good pummeling Colorado, but it turned out to be a mirage, as they weren’t very good.

An exhibition game in a 1/2 full baseball stadium against a bad team missing all its best players? Not that there have been that many to chose from, but our (I’m referring to Nebraska here) last bowl win was in 2015, so the Bowl win would probably be our best win. Lol
Really nailed that mental gymnastics dismount.
meaningless bowl wins we almost blow against teams with none of their guys playing don't matterYou are insufferable. Sorry I don’t view the great Deion Sanders and the mighty Colorado Buffalos like you do. It’s OK there are still other Coach Prime Super Fans you can jerk off with.

statement wins against a hated rival in front of a national audience do
you - like everyone else on Earth - know this, you're just too emotional to admit it (again)

yes, I do think winning a rivalry game against a top 25 team on the national stage is more important than beating two avg teams without any of their best guys. And you are so obsessed with the Coach of the Colorado Buffalos you can’t even pretend to be objective.
It pissed you off that Nebraska beat Colorado, because you talked so much shit on behalf of “Coach Prime” all off season. And it pisses you off even more that most of us don’t really care because we don’t share your lofty option of him. You really think winning a non con game in September is more important than getting to a Bowl Game and winning a Bowl Game for the first time in forever?
You're so desperate for it to be a non conference game against a team we should have owned but didn't until this year. Weak standards. An exhibition game in a 1/2 full baseball stadium against a bad team missing all its best players?
Lol
Really nailed that mental gymnastics dismount.
I will miss playing high profile non conference games now that we’ve made the conscious decision as a program to run from themYou're so desperate for it to be a non conference game against a team we should have owned but didn't until this year. Weak standards.
I don't blame anyone using you as an example.
Hahaha So, you’re throwing in the towel then. Hey, gotta hand it to you for that at least. I mean, a real man would just admit it, but I guess this is the next best thing. Unlike your little even shorter mental midget friend here who still thinks his mental gymnastics will be able to lie his way out of this. But that’s par for the course for him.

You and I are generally on opposite ends of the spectrum but even I have to laugh at this one lol. Nice .

I bet you find yourself saying that a lotNot sure what is so funny here.
I don't believe for a second you have any info on what a "real man" would do.Hahaha So, you’re throwing in the towel then. Hey, gotta hand it to you for that at least. So answer my 2 simple questions then. You wanna be a real man? Let’s see it.
If you can man up and do it, cool. But you’re a pussy ass butch so you won’t
Not sure what is so funny here. Or what is even trying to be proven with this whole beating Deion is a great accomplishment, which makes him greater than the coach(es) that beat him thing. That is some weird spin on a beat down from the fan club, but that’s what they do.
It was Rhule’s second game of his second year and we hadn’t exactly been very good. I hoped it was a springboard to bigger things, it wasn’t. We then went on to beat Wisconsin for the first time in forever, getting bowl eligible for the first time in forever and then won a bowl game. Those were also fun, and more important.
Rent free..not me..Him tho for sure. How about you answer my simple question.
What is it you think you have won or accomplished here? You are trying to do a victory lap on your obsession because he got a new contract? Does that make all your big talk suddenly correct?
You claimed he had never failed at anything (fraudulent charter school, divorce, domestic assault, refusing to pay bills, on and on).. Claimed he would make players do the right thing (one of his sons pushed an official, the other assaulted a security officer and refuses to pay his debts, he doesn’t even try to make his own kids act like decent human beings). You claimed he was a grinder and no one would out work him (won’t even leave his house to recruit). Does Colorado giving that guy a boatload of money suddenly make any of those claims true?
