Coach Primes idiot son at it again

I didn't expect the Buffs to beat UCLA, but I was amazed at how blockheaded and idiotic their offensive game plan was. Their defense made enough big plays and got enough good breaks that CU actually had a chance to steal that game well into the second half. But they just insisted on dropping Sanders back into a non-existent pocket over and over and over and over again.

For God's sake, if your O-linemen can't even momentarily get in the Bruins' way, run a shovel pass. Run a toss sweep. Run a direct snap to Dylan Edwards. Do something - anything - to try to keep the defense honest. I know that if you can't block anybody, you're probably not going to win. But CU's failure to even try to make any kind of adjustment was just baffling.

Because you are an obvious sissy.
Ever played? It wasnt targeting. Play happening a million miles an hour, puts his shoulder down and his helmet grazes the other player. Pure b.s.
Impossible to change your trajectory and theres no way to know where your opponent is going to move his head. It was a good clean hit.
Easy killer. They didn't have "targeting" when I played. It was just called laying someone out. I'll have to watch it again if people are this are upset.

Watched it again. Targeting.

They've got some impressive athletes. If they get a few more and a year plus of practice together they might become what the media imagined them to be earlier this year.
You just described Nebraska from 2015 to now. Just need a few more players….Deion is saying they just need another 7-10 guys….hell every team not named Michigan or Georgia feel that way.

I guess when he said he was bringing all his luggage with him he would have thought to bring in some lineman to protect his son.

Is Sanders honest about his lineman, yeah they aren’t playing well but is the scheme the team is using one that works within what the lineman can do?

It appears that the losses aren’t the fault of the staff at all but the players. Will be interesting off season for sure to see how the staff and players get changes done.

Offensive line would be the one unit I would be hesitant to continually try to plug and play. Good luck with that Deion. People always think it can't get worse. It can always get worse.

Rhule looked at our line and said they weren't being utilized correctly. He talked them up and is trying to play to their strengths. Deion just says he will just go get better players. I wouldn't want to keep playing for him.

Not sure if the Buffs have 2 more wins on the schedule, I’d guess best chances for would be against AZ and Wazzu. Wouldn’t surprise me a bit if he lets go the OL coach before the season ends in order to get started on finding a replacement, then hitting the portal hard for linemen.

The hit does look clean in the OPs video, but replay shows that the crown of his helmet hit the bottom of the receivers helmet.

While not completely vicious, it's the type of hit that that they're trying to eliminate so I think it was the right call.

With that being said, how was Purdue's hit on HH right before half not targeting?
Yup

I agree with that being said on over 50% of the targeting calls. A lot of times the defender committed and then offensive player lowers head at the last minute and the defender gets flagged.

Especially after yesterday, how classic targeting was reviewed and reversed , I threw my hands in the air and said get rid of the penalty. If you take targeting away (ejection) it was still probably helmet to helmet. I hate the rule honestly

Waazu is struggling, but Arizona is playing well. They just beat #11 Oregon State

I hate the rule but I'm not sure how someone can watch it from the refs angle and not see the helmet first contact on a player that could be considered defenseless.

LOL at either Yahoo or YouTube blocking shit when adblocks are on. Reeks of desperation. I see the post options have changed, and with the way the site's been acting I'm sure its all just coinkydink.
Meh, where there's a will there's an easy way when garbage coders are afoot. Maybe that next update tomorrow wont break more stuff right?

You forget:

Every running play takes stats away from Sanders' kid.

So will “Coach Prime” allow his son to enter the draft, if he is projected in the 1st round? Or will he make him stay another year because dad needs him at CU?

Did you see the story where dad wanted Atlanta to draft both of his sons? Wonder if upon reflection after the season, those cheering him in pre season, early season and now, will see if this is a version of daddy ball on a higher level than select/AAU/etc.

Because the big 10 refs are incompetent

The difference is, Deion will get them. You think he won’t?

I think if he gets them, he will need keep developing them. Will his staff be focused enough to get the best of the new kids, assuming the staff is doing that now with the current players brought in?

Proved it again. Sissy.

Must have slipped his mind as he was searching for white Stetsons, cute logos for T-Shirts and TV commercial gigs. Could happen to anyone after the bliss of being hired as Head Coach of the legendary Colorado Buffaloes.

"Ever played?" was always the first response when differing with a big guy in a saloon. Funny as hell. Played? Damn right, at lots of things none on a football field but that does not mean my opinion has no merit.

No, he won’t get them. He will always be a few players away. I don’t think he will ever have a QB better than Sheduer. They’d be winless if they had average QB play this year.
There isn’t a large number of great offensive linemen and I see now way CU stockpiles 4 or 5 of them.

I don’t see any player development to come out of that program. They’ll recruit the guys they think can play top level immediately and if it turns out they need development they will be discarded.

About 60 percent of the roster is made up of transfers including a bulk of the oline... Only 2 of the linemen are seniors... Correct me if Im wrong, but doesn't Colorado have to guarantee these transfers the scholly for the rest of their eligibility???

Unless the conference requires it then no. That said who with critical thinking skilled parents and high school coaches are going to send players to a program openly showing you’re one and done to the next college even after you transfer in.
