According to TOS. Cot dam he can recruit like a boss. When all is done it will be top 30 class easy. Not bad for a non P5 team that went 0-12. The HD recruits are going crazy over his UCFast approach.
and 5 national championships! In 10 years when coac Riley retires
In 10 years when coac Riley retires it would be great to see Scott Frost come back.
Good for Frosty. I'm sure he will be a very good coach for your team.According to TOS. Cot dam he can recruit like a boss. When all is done it will be top 30 class easy. Not bad for a non P5 team that went 0-12. The HD recruits are going crazy over his UCFast approach.
I wish him all the luck in the world and hope he turns out to be a awesome coach and then maybe , just maybe it will shut up his critics on this board.
We really don't know the future. UNL might have a shot at acquiring his skills but it is far from a sure thing.Quite a few people questioned whether a 30something Osborne was ready to take over at Nebraska after Devaney. I think Frost will do well at UCF and who knows, years from now, he might get a shot at UNL. I know I will be pulling for him wherever he's at, unless he's coaching a team Nebraska is playing.
Well especially if he is successful on a big scale; but then what would it take to get him to leave ? He would have established recruiting access throughout the Southeast; to go with the NW and many areas nationally. IMO; over 40 can be very mature coaching wise ( Pelini's short resume seems to be an exception, that fooled coach O vs his early signs of immaturity ); Coach Frost is also from an athletic and coaching family. We shouldn't underestimate the response a young energetic staff can get from recruits, with the coaching tree he has, it could even be an advantage. After Stanford, he was around N when we were perhaps the best in history in developing players on all levels - he is a winner and has a ton of drive. HCMR was a great pick and for reasons of building what we are seeing appear; so I see the wisdom -" Big Boxes ", once again rings true.We really don't know the future. UNL might have a shot at acquiring his skills but it is far from a sure thing.
I wish him nothing but the best but until February nothing really matters. The only class I am concerned about is Mike Riley's.

I don't think there were any critics other than most felt Frost was not ready for a school at a level like NU. He may very well succeed. To get to this level he'll have to prove himself first at a school like UCF first. Are you just mad because Frost was not selected as NU's coach? I'm going to say he was never considered. That doesn't make me a critic. Give him time. He's just getting started.
