How many people have said on here you can't recruit elite talent to Nebraska? Look at this coach - he is showing you how to do it.
I'm hopeful our other coaches are taking some lessons. You gotta speak the language of your audience.
I mostly agree with this statement, but kids also see through phony really easily. So for example, if Coach Cav were to start tweeting like this, I am pretty sure people would see that it's not authentic. The reason it's so successful for Coach Williams is because it is his true voice.
I think the actual knock was we would never be able to pass the ball due to weather, ergo, no Receivers would come. Somehow, the wind must blow more than it does in any other Midwestern State where they throw the ball.
These guys certainly get it and hopefully, when we have the inevitable hiccups this year, people don't start posting stupid stuff about the Coaching.
I agree with you but that doesn't mean you can't have a member of your recruiting staff who is dedicated to social media giving you full coverage with recruits...some schools are starting to do that and I have a feeling that will be the norm sooner than later.
Remember when people got really upset that we hired Tulane's WR coach?
I definitely scratched my head a bit (wouldn't say that I was upset). The thing was, the guy previously at Oregon State (now don't recall his name) had the reputation of being a great coach and good recruiter. Well, now I'd say we possibly upgraded.

Lewis popped up a while ago and showed some pretty good interest. Then we didn't hear much about him. Kind of like Carr, Davis, and several other highly rated players. Kind of stewing in the background with potential for visits was the last I heard.
That post obviously very positive on the continued communication between Coach Dub and his targets.
Jake from State Farm. Wonder if OSU WR coach has second thoughts about getting into it with @wideouts. Probably not that smart.

Did you guys see the Tweet at the OSU Coach on the evaluation of the OSU Receivers up for the Draft and how they are poor route runners? Classic stuff.
Can't find it but saw that too. Something like strength and weaknesses. Every wide receiver at Ohio State scored lowest on route running.
I love it. He continues to tell recruits to demand information from their position coaches. Find out what they know. You damn well know Dr. Route has the prescription.
